Privacy policy
This policy describes the current Seedling Academy iOS app and this support website. Contact for privacy questions: tantraamshanirmaataa@gmail.com. Seedling Academy is the product name; the App Store identifies the legal developer when the app is listed.
Information kept on your device
The app stores learner nicknames, avatars, age/class choices, board and optional book preferences, language and settings, quiz answers and scores, activity progress, saved chapters, planner tasks, draft reflections and notebook entries. A locally generated identifier distinguishes profiles and the installation. These records remain in the app’s browser storage and protected native recovery files. Use a nickname and avoid entering sensitive information in free-text notes.
No automatic upload of learning records
The current learner app has no enabled cloud account or cloud synchronisation. Creating a local profile does not send that profile to Seedling’s servers. No advertising, third-party analytics or cross-app tracking service is integrated. The school service adapter is not connected in the current learner release, and public school operations are not deployed. A future connected service will require updated disclosures before it is enabled.
Shared-device profiles and local rankings
Profiles on one device are not password-isolated. Someone with access to the unlocked device and app can switch profiles. Ranking participation is optional and uses a chosen nickname when enabled. Do not treat a shared device as a confidential school account. Practice results do not establish official academic grades.
Your choices and deletion
You can change settings, opt out of local ranking, remove a learner or erase this device from within the app. Removing profiles or erasing updates both current and previous local recovery copies and prevents deleted profiles being recovered from those copies. The app retains a local deletion marker for this protection; it is not uploaded. Deleting the app removes its app container, but operating-system backups and previously exported files are managed separately by you and Apple. Exported files remain under your control until you delete them.
Printing, export and official links
When you choose export or printing, records are passed to the destination or print service you select. External reference links open outside the app. Those sites receive network information under their own policies. Seedling does not control official textbook websites or their retention practices.
Support and this website
If you email us, the recipient and email providers process your address, message and any attachments so we can respond. Send only the information needed for your request. Do not email complete learner records or sensitive information about children. Support messages are kept while needed to address the request or meet applicable obligations; request deletion through the contact above.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes request information such as IP addresses, browser details and access times to deliver and secure the site under its own policies. We do not add analytics scripts, advertising trackers, third-party fonts, contact forms or nonessential cookies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
School-age learners
Learning content is intended for school use. Students should avoid entering their full name, address, school identifier or other sensitive details. An adult should handle external support communications about a younger learner. Available in-app learning sections remain open; the app does not request a parent PIN.
Security and limits
The app uses iOS app storage protections and protected native recovery files. Security depends partly on device access, operating-system settings and how you handle exports. No system can guarantee absolute security. Content review and physical-device accessibility validation remain ongoing release work.
Policy changes
Changes to data handling will be reflected here with an updated effective date. In particular, cloud accounts, public rankings or school integrations will not be covered by a claim that this release keeps all records local.
